As a production company, we believe that content should be entertaining & educational, inspiring & informative, age appropriate and high quality.
Because of the high level of influence that film & TV have on developing minds, it’s paramount that the content kids watch models behaviors that align with our values & beliefs.
Headquartered in New Orleans, the Crown & Shield Foundation films scripted & unscripted content for kids so you don’t have to worry about what your children are watching.
Storytelling is important to our children's social, emotional and cognitive development especially communication and literacy.
Sharing our stories with each other builds emotional bridges and helps us understand different points of view.
By participating in this program, the students we work with have the opportunity to share their own unique stories.
Our unscripted content is for kids by kids.
Each program stars a local student who is paired with a leader from our community.
One Program is edited into four episodes.
The four episodes are released weekly on YouTube over the course of a month.
Including a Co-Host is rooted in the fact that we influence by exposure.
By diversifying who occupies the co-host chair, the students and online viewers will be introduced to a wide range of professions and personalities.
To help with the process, we have themes for the stories shared that we adhere to determined by grade level.

WHAT WE BELIEVE
Media is called a Super Peer for a very obvious reason: the level of impact it has on our youth is greater than any other source.
Currently, children consume, on average, 11 hours of content a day. This shapes how they see themselves, what they care about, and how they view their future.
It is time to stop the narratives that are detrimental to the development of our youth and start creating content for them that will inspire them to live a life measured by personal initiative and accomplishments.
We currently have multiple feature length films in various stages of development.
