What areas does The Crown and Shield Foundation serve?

We are based in New Orleans and have worked with 15 schools in the Greater New Orleans Area, and one school in Baton Rouge.

How can I contribute money to TCSF?

Thank you for investing in your community by supporting TCSF. Your employer may conduct a workplace campaign where you can make a contribution each year.

Are donations tax-deductible?

The Crown and Shield Foundation is a federally registered 501(c)3 not-for-profit corporation. As such, donations to TCSF are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by an individual’s or corporation’s circumstances. Donors who contribute $250 or more by check or credit card will receive an acknowledgment from us. A copy of the cancelled check and the acknowledgement letter together act as evidence of a donation for purpose of a tax return.

How can I be sure my gift is spent wisely?

Each dollar given is spent executing our mission. The board oversees this and we are transparent with our accounting. Please reach out and a member of our team would be happy to discuss this further.
