Founder and Chairman of the Board of The Crown and Shield Foundation, Jordan, a New Orleans native, is honored to lead its quest to nurture, educate, and empower the youth of today whose lives are bombarded by every excuse to quit. Jordan believes that mentoring faith and encouragement to children and making available to them the right tools and skills, are the best ways to combat the temptations and pressures of today’s culture.
Baehr is the founder and Publisher of MOVIEGUIDE®: The Family Guide to Movies and Entertainment and Chairman of the Christian Film & Television Commission® ministry (CFTVC), as well as a noted critic, educator, lecturer, and media pundit. Both MOVIEGUIDE® and CFTVC are dedicated to redeeming the values of the entertainment industry, according to biblical principles, by influencing industry executives and artists.
Calogero is an attorney whose passion for more than 20 years has been to serve people. Calogero offers compassion, empathy and solid judgment, based on the law and equity. This is what sets Calogero apart. He believes that your life’s work is not limited to your job. Your work includes building a foundation for your family and leaving a legacy. His tenure in local government has shown him the need for true, caring and thoughtful service to people in his community.
Joshua Canizaro was born and raised in the greater New Orleans area where he began serving as a youth pastor in the summer of 1999. After pastoring in Louisiana for nearly six years, he joined the team at Church of the Highlands in Birmingham, Alabama, which became one of the largest and fastest growing multi-site churches in America. Canizaro is most passionate about helping people who feel far from God find hope in a life-giving and fulfilling relationship with Jesus Christ. He is the Founder and current Lead Pastor of One Hope, a thriving and growing church in the heart of New Orleans, Louisiana.
Meg alsfeld kaul
Kaul has experience in media and entertainment law, including motion picture, digital media, historical and infrastructure tax credit transactions. She has acted as production counsel for motion pictures filmed in Louisiana, and has structured motion picture financing arrangements. She has also handled trademark and copyright matters for motion picture and entertainment clients, and has drafted contracts for musicians, authors, financiers, and producers. In her film practice, Kaul has established entities on behalf of entertainment clients, and has provided business and Louisiana tax credit consultation to production companies and other entertainment clients.
As Vice-President of The Crown and Shield Foundation, Malmgren brings her practical and legal experience from Capitol Hill and abroad. Malmgren worked on Capitol Hill as a congressional staff assistant and legislative correspondent as well as for the House Ways and Means Committee, where she was exposed to the leading lobbyists and number crunchers of our country. She believes in addressing the societal problems of today’s youth head-on and in innovative ways.
As the son of early preservationists Duncan and Camille Strachan, New Orleans native and lifelong resident, Strachan witnessed firsthand the importance of protecting community and the significance of investing locally. Since childhood, this has been a motivating force and priority for him. Strachan has served on the board of the Coliseum Square Association, the St. Charles Avenue Association, and as a supporter of numerous public organizations citywide.
